Erik Ravelo, Award-winning Creative Director and multimedia artist. Former Creative Director and head of Visual communication department at FABRICA, the communication research center of the Benetton group in Treviso, Italy. My campaigns for Benetton includes Unhate, which features controversial images of world leaders kissing. Awarded with the Grand Prix of Cannes in 2012. Among other international awards including Epica, Clio awards, D&AD, One Show, The Art Directors Club New York. The Art Directors Club Italy. Author of numerous international advertising campaigns for clients as The United Nations, World Health Organization, Reporters Without Borders, UN women, Amnesty International, The Guardian, Reporters without Borders, United Colors of Benetton, Esselunga, Lavazza, Lancia (FIAT GROUP) and many others. My work has been published by the international press and exhibited in major exhibitions including Les Yeux Ouverts (2006) in collaboration with the Center Pompidou and presented in Paris, Milan, Shanghai and Tokyo. The Art Biennial in Venice (2011), Miart (2013), Arte Fiera (2014), Open Arts, Biennale of Scandinavia (2016), Venice Factory (2020). Basel Art - American Museum of cuban diaspora. Miami (2022) Born in Havana, Cuba in 1978. Studies completed at San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts.
